Jim Higgins

Question:

147 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the Land Commission is prepared to seek to have a right of way through a former Land Commission estate (details supplied) in County Mayo extinguished. [13083/98]

It is the intention of the Land Commission to seek to extinguish the right of way in question. The legal procedure involved is of an intricate nature and the matter is currently being examined.
