Vol. 491 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jim Higgins

Question:

146 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his Department will pay the full amount of the 22 month special beef premium in relation to 29 bullocks to persons (details supplied) in County Mayo who have been disallowed in relation to two other animals under the scheme (details supplied). [13082/98]

The herdowner lodged an appeal on 22 December 1997 concerning his 22 month special beef premium application. Appeals are dealt with in the order in which they are received and require individual examination. It is expected that this appeal will be dealt with in the near future and the herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
