207 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if copies of his Department's cycle facility design guidelines have been sent to all local authorities to enable each authority to take into account the needs of cyclists in the preparation of development plans. My Department has circulated copies of the Dublin Transportation Office cycle facilities design manual to all major local authorities. Further copies of the manual are available from the Dublin Transportation Office or the Government Publications Sale Office.
