47 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if the Department has forwarded the requested information to the Director General of the European Commission's Transport Directorate in relation to State aids paid to Ryanair and the transfer of developed routes to Ryanair; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that my Department has forwarded the information requested by the Director General of the European Commission's Transport Directorate in relation to financial assistance to Ryanair. I set out my position in relation to this matter in my response to Parliamentary Question No. 25 Ref No. 4939/98 on 24 February 1998.
