Vol. 492 No. 1

Written Answers. - VISA Applications.

Derek McDowell

Question:

200 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review his decision to refuse an entry visa for a person (details supplied). [13410/98]

The visa application in question was refused because the applicant, although intending to work in Ireland, was not in possession of a work permit from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

It is open to the person concerned to make a new application with this factor in mind.
