Vol. 492 No. 1

Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Scheme.

Jack Wall

Question:

79 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reasons a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has not received a farm retirement scheme pension. [13446/98]

The application in this case was lodged in the local farm development services office, FDS and is due to be processed.

I have made arrangements to ensure that where undue delays occur they do not result in the applicants for the farm retirement pension being unfairly penalised, by having pension commencement dates adjusted to take account of any such delays.
