179 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence the expected date of the final report of the board established by the Chief of Staff to review the Reserve Defence Force; and the dates it met with the FCA consultative group. [16060/98]
It is anticipated that the board established by the Chief of Staff to conduct a special study into the reorganisation of the Reserve Defence Force in accordance with the Defence Forces Review Implementation Plan will furnish its report to the Chief of Staff in late autumn this year. To date, the board met with the Reserve Defence Force Consultative Group on one occasion which took the form of a weekend seminar held on 14-15 February 1998.
