Vol. 493 No. 3

Written Answers. - Psychological Service.

John Bruton

Question:

431 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science the names of the national schools in County Meath that have psychological services; and the schools that will have access to the psychological service for the first time for the 1998-99 school year. [15606/98]

Until recently, my Department has not been in a position to provide a psychological service to national schools in County Meath. However, the recent appointment of 15 psychologists to my Department's psychological service for a period of three years has allowed me to increase the number of primary schools having access to the help of an educational psychologist.

In County Meath, the following national schools now have access to the support of the psychological service.
