Vol. 494 No. 5

Written Answers. - Departmental Properties.

Jack Wall

Question:

74 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence if he will ensure that a house (details supplied) in County Kildare, which is the property of his Department, is made safe in order to protect adjacent property. [18909/98]

The house in question has been inspected by the Corps of Engineers and it is satisfied that the building is structurally sound. The house, which is vacant, was boarded up to prevent trespass and its electricity supply was disconnected. Some replacement of the boarding is necessary and this will be attended to as soon as possible.
