192 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the nature of the area aid problem which is causing a delay in issuing cattle and sheep headage payments to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [19447/98]

The area aid application of the person named has been fully processed and an overclaim has been detected. Payments based on the reduced area will issue within the next four weeks.

193 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has not yet received 1998 area aid payments in respect of cattle and sheep headage. [19448/98]

The area aid application of the person named is being processed. Payments should issue within the next four weeks.

194 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has been issued with full cattle headage payment; the amount he is entitled to; the amount he has received; and the amount outstanding. [19451/98]

The person named was paid his full entitlement of £2,447.61 under the 1998 cattle headage scheme on 30 September 1998. This amount was limited by his forage area as declared on his 1998 area aid application.

195 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will ensure that a headage grant is paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry. [19452/98]

The area aid application for the person concerned is currently being processed. Any payments due should issue to him within the next four weeks.
