Vol. 495 No. 1

Written Answers. - Architectural Heritage.

Emmet Stagg

Question:

352 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if a survey of courthouses was carried out on her behalf in relation to the £3.9 million announced on 13 May 1998 for the restoration of listed buildings; if so, if she will publish or make available the result of that survey; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19646/98]

The survey of courthouses was commissioned by the Heritage Council which availed of Dúchas, the heritage service of my Department, to carry out the work. I understand that the council hopes to publish the results of the survey in the new year.
