404 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans, if any, he has to provide the necessary teaching services required by a person (details supplied) in County Meath attending Scoil Uí Ghramhnaigh, Ráth Cairn, for the past six years and who requires the services of a special needs teacher if she is to make progress; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19395/98]

A member of my Department's inspectorate is currently investigating the special educational needs of the pupil in question. Any recommendations made by the inspector will be fully and urgently considered by my Department.
