Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the deteriorating situation in respect of the waiting list for residential care for persons with a learning disability; (2) Deputy Ring — the replies to parliamentary questions to the Minister for Agriculture and Food on area aid problems and the level of co-operation between this unit of his Department and its customers and public representatives; (3) Deputy Farrelly — the failure of the Department of Education and Science to appoint a design team for the new St. Oliver's post primary school in Oldcastle, County Meath; (4) Deputy Gormley — the need to allow the small group of non EU nationals who are here to pursue postgraduate studies to work legally for the duration of their stay on a genuine post graduate studies basis; (5) Deputy Stanton — the need to provide funding and support to parents and other in order to provide special education for very young autistic children.

The matters raised by Deputies Ring, Olivia Mitchell, Gormley and Farrelly have been selected for discussion.
