Michael Ring

Question:

363 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if her Department will investigate the gable wall of the church at Shrule graveyard, County Mayo, in view of its dangerous and dilapidated condition and the threat of danger to any persons within its vicinity. [23515/98]

The abbey in Shrule is in State ownership and in the care of my Department. It will be inspected at the earliest opportunity with a view to carrying out any works which are required.
