Difficulties have arisen in processing the area aid application for the person named and he has been informed. When these have been resolved, any payments due will issue as soon as possible.

As a result of a compliance inspection, payment was withheld and a penalty was imposed in this case. An appeal has been lodged and a report has been requested from the Department's regional inspector. As soon as this has been received, the case will be listed for the next meeting of the Department's appeals committee.

An extensification payment in respect of 1997 was made to the person named. Digitising of his 1998 area aid application is being completed and any payments due will be made as soon as possible.

Applications were made by the person named under both the special beef premium and suckler cow premium schemes.
His grants under the extensification premium have been approved and payment should issue to him shortly.
