Vol. 497 No. 2

Written Answers - Speech Therapy Services.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

227 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide a speech therapy service for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24390/98]

The provision of speech and language therapy services in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the details of the case provided by the Deputy to the chief executive officer of the South-Eastern Health Board and asked him to have the matter examined and reply directly to the Deputy.
