: Commonage framework plans for each individual commonage are likely to take some time to prepare. In the interim for 1999, the Department of Agriculture and Food, in conjunction with my Department is implementing measure A of the rural environment protection scheme, with a reduction of mountain ewe quota premiums of 30 per cent of 1998 levels pending the introduction of the individual plans.
