Vol. 498 No. 3

Written Answers - Dental Services.

Michael Ring

Question:

123 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the schools in County Mayo which have their second, fourth and sixth class pupils attended to by a dentist; the name and address of each school receiving this service; and the number of dentists covering County Mayo. [27076/98]

The provision of dental treatment to eligible persons in the Western Health Board area is the statutory responsibility of the health board.

As the information requested by the Deputy is not maintained by my Department, I have requested the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to provide this information directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
