I propose to take Questions Nos. 332 and 334 together.
Statistics on shared ownership transactions completed by local authorities since the scheme came into operation in 1991, and houses sold under the tenant purchase scheme in the past ten years, are published in my Department's annual housing statistics bulletins, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
333 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of local authority houses built in each of the past ten years; the number of houses provided by the voluntary housing sector during that period; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27422/98]
Details of the number of local authority houses built in each of the past ten years and of the number of houses provided by the voluntary housing sector in the years from 1993 are published in my Department's housing statistics bulletins, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library. Details of the number of voluntary houses provided by the voluntary housing sector between 1988 and 1992 ar set out in the table below.
