John Gormley

Question:

171 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans, if any, he has to provide for the extension of the Boyne catchment monitoring and management system to include the tidal portion of the river in this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28015/98]

This issue was raised at a recent meeting of the steering group which has been established to oversee the catchment monitoring and management system being developed for the Rivers Boyne, Liffey and Suir. The matter is at present under consideration.
