4 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Taoiseach if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 25 of 24 November 1998, overhead subsidies are included in the per capita GDP figures for each of the 26 counties; the farm payments included in these figures; if headage payments are also included; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The indicative GDP per capita figures for each county in 1995 given in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 25 of 24 November 1998 were compiled on a factor cost basis including all subsidies. Consequently, all subsidies to farmers, including overhead subsidies and the headage payments, were included.
