953 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the building of the proposed new VEC college in Drogheda, County Louth; when the contract will be decided; when it will commence; the total cost; the expected completion date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Architectural planning of a new community college in Drogheda, County Louth is currently at stage 4 – namely detailed design of my Department's design team procedures. The question of proceeding to construction will be considered when the remaining stages of architectural planning have been successfully completed.
