Question:

122 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Taoiseach the resources and personnel available to transpose EU directives into Irish law; if he has satisfied himself with the rate of progress of this implementation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2517/99]

The Taoiseach:

At this point in time, there are no EU directives which would fall under the auspices of my Department waiting to be implemented. Additional staffing and resources would, therefore, be unnecessary.
