111 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 381 of 8 December 1998, the progress, if any, made in relation to the special teaching and child care support for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department's inspectorate is currently considering the recommendations contained in a psychological report on the pupil in question. I expect that a decision on the appropriate support for this pupil will be made in the near future.
