280 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if contract documents for the Drummond water scheme, County Westmeath, are lodged with his Department; when they will be approved; and the expected timeframe for the commencement and completion of these works. [5878/99]

An updated report on the contract documents for this scheme is cur rently under examination in my Department. The scheme is included in my Department's 1999 Water Services Investment Programme to start construction this year.
