312 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if land registration will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact it is urgently required for a farm retirement pension. [6102/99]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to a voluntary transfer which was lodged on 17 February 1999. I am advised that a query issued on this dealing to the applicant's solicitor on 26 February 1999 and a reply is awaited. This query must be satisfactorily discharged before the matter can proceed.
However, I assure the Deputy that the Land Registry will do everything possible to expedite the resolution of this application.
