336 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will report on his Department's involvement with the implementation of the Boyne Valley integrated development plan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6086/99]
I understand that the regional tourism authority, along with other local interests, is represented on a management committee set up to oversee implementation of the tourism recommendations of the integrated development plan for the Boyne Valley, including certain proposals currently being assessed by that committee.
These recommendations are part of an integrated plan prepared by a steering committee set up in 1995 and on which my Department was represented.
