Vol. 501 No. 3

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Michael Joe Cosgrave

Question:

361 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make grants available to the board of management (details supplied) of Scoil Mhuire, Howth, County Dublin, in order that computers can be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6030/99]

My Department has received an application from the school referred to by the Deputy for the provision of computer equipment for a number of special needs children. The nature of the needs in this case is being explored with the school and a decision will be communicated to the school authorities in the near future.
