163 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has officially received the keys of a building (details supplied) in Dublin 3; if tender documents for the lease of this building have now been prepared; when the tendering process will be complete; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The surrender of the property referred to by the Deputy is imminent and I expect it to be completed this week. The Chief State Solicitor's office is dealing with the matter so as to ensure that all necessary legal issues are taken account of and that the State's interests are fully protected.
My Department is in the process of preparing the documentation necessary for the invitation to tender. These will be ready in the very near future and I expect that a lease with new tenants will be in place within three months.
