Question:224 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive top-up of the fodder losses scheme. [8049/99]

The person named was paid his full entitlement under the 1998 winter fodder scheme and qualifies for a top-up of 50 per cent under the 1999 scheme. My Department is currently finalising arrangements for this scheme and it is hoped to commence payment within the next week.
