569 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he has satisfied himself with the progress towards full year 2000 compliance within his Department and in agencies for which his Department is responsible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8232/99]
570 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the number of personnel in his Department working on securing year 2000 compliance within his Department and the bodies under its aegis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8247/99]
571 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he has satisfied himself that bodies (details supplied) are year 2000 compliant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8272/99]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 569, 570, 571 together.
My Department has established a year 2000 committee which includes representatives of the agencies. The committee has informed me that they expect that both the Department and the agencies will be year 2000 compliant in good time.
The work of three staff in my Department and, I am advised, that of five staff in Bord Fáilte, three in CERT and three in ADM Ltd. currently includes working on steps identified as necessary for achieving year 2000 compliance in their respective organisations.
