228 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she received a report from the Heritage Council on genealogical practices in Ireland; if so, when she received this report; if she will lay a copy of report in the Oireachtas Library; the proposals, if any, she has in relation to this report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Heritage Council submitted a report at the request of my predecessor on the provision of genealogical services in Ireland at the end of last year. The contents of this report which are being considered by my Department at present will be placed in the public domain in due course.
