Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ring – the need to provide funding for the augmentation of the Westport water scheme from Srah, County Mayo; (2) Deputy Olivia Mitchell – the transfer of the traffic warden service to Dublin Corporation on 29 April; (3) Deputy Coveney – the provision of funding to ensure that the Irish Marine Emergency Service at Crosshaven can purchase an inshore rescue boat for the Cork harbour area; (4) Deputy Ulick Burke – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to reverse the decision to reduce Derryoober national school, Woodford, County Galway, from a three to a two teacher school from September 1999; (5) Deputy Finucane – the need to secure an alternative industry for the Kilmallock Teleservices Centre in Kilmallock, County Limerick; (6) Deputy Clune – the need to establish a fund to assist in the provision of a dedicated transport system for the disabled in the context of the action plan being drawn up by the interdepartmental committee under the aegis of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform; (7) Deputy Neville – the need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to introduce appropriate structures for the resolution of industrial relations problems for employees in community training workshops; (8) Deputy Hogan – the need to allocate a special additional allocation to Kilkenny County Council in 1999 to allow the commencement and completion of group water schemes; (9) Deputy Deasy – the implications arising from the removal of two senior personnel from the staff of the Southern Regional Fisheries Board; (10) Deputy Deenihan – the collapse of the pig industry in County Kerry.

The matters raised by Deputies Coveney, Deasy, Hogan and Olivia Mitchell have been selected for discussion.
