Vol. 503 No. 7

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Jack Wall

Question:

94 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if investigations will be made into the application for school transport for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11115/99]

As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services to persons with autism in the Kildare region is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board. As it would not be appropriate to provide the information sought by the Deputy in relation to the individual concerned by way of a parliamentary question, I have asked the health board to examine this matter and to respond directly to the Deputy.
