112 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will have investigations made into the delay in the payment of a forestry grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if full payment will issue as soon as possible. [12164/99]

Work pressures in the forest service resulted in a delay in the processing of the application in question. I understand that an inspection of the plantation will be made this week, after which a decision on the application will be made.
