Cecilia Keaveney

Question:

142 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to an area aid payment for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12534/99]

In accordance with the regulations extensification premium is payable on all animals paid under the suckler cow and special beef premium schemes if the stocking density on the holding is less than 1.4LUs per hectare. No application was received from the person named under the 1998 suckler cow or special beef premium schemes therefore the person named has no entitlement to 1998 extensification premium.

Seymour Crawford

Question:

143 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan has not received any fodder aid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12535/99]

A cheque for £69 was issued to the person named on 7 May 1999, in respect of the special fodder hardship fund scheme. This is his full entitlement under the scheme.

Michael Ring

144 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1998 cattle headage and a suckler cow premium. [12565/99]

The person named was paid his full entitlement of £168 under the 1998 cattle headage scheme on 5 November 1998. He was paid an advance payment of 80 per cent on two suckler cows amounting to £224.36 on 29 October 1998 and a 20 per cent balance of £56.10 on 3 February 1999.

Michael Ring

Question:

145 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1998 sheep headage and premia payments. [12566/99]

The area aid application form of the above named was incomplete in that he did not enter any parcel details on page two of the form. Following contact by the area aid unit the applicant submitted the required documentation. This has now been fully processed and any payments due will issue as soon as possible.

John Perry

Question:

146 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the area aid problems for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be resolved; if a cattle headage payment will be released; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12567/99]

The person named submitted an incomplete application, in that he did not submit sufficient maps with his 1998 area aid application form. The area aid unit issued maps in order to enable him to identify the location of a plot of land included on his area aid application form. The maps have recently been received by the area aid unit, and are now being processed. Any payments that might become due cannot issue, until processing has been completed.
