Vol. 504 No. 7

Written Answers. - Tax Allowances.

John McGuinness

Question:

198 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Finance if the tax free allowance allocated to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be examined to determine if his full circumstances were considered. [12945/99]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that based on the information available to the inspector of taxes, the taxpayer is in receipt of his cor rect tax free allowances. The inspector has issued a Med I form and a form 12 to the taxpayer which he should complete and return. Upon receipt of same the inspector will be pleased to carry out a review of the taxpayer's allowances.
