Vol. 504 No. 7

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Michael Finucane

Question:

300 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will grant a further work visa to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the circumstances. [12935/99]

The person in question was issued with a permit, valid for a one year period, authorising her to engage in temporary or casual employment while on holiday in Ireland. This permit expired on 31 March 1999 and may not be extended. She has been granted an extension of her permission to remain as a visitor, for a further three month period, without recourse to paid employment or public funds. Further permission can be considered, as appropriate, when her current visitor permission expires.
