Carrowmore Lake on the Owenmore River has been licensed since 1974 from a private syndicate, on an annual basis, by Bangor Angling Club. The title research unit of the Central Fisheries Board is working to clarify definitively the ownership of the fishing rights on Carrowmore Lake.
