The provision of services to persons with a mental handicap in the Kilkenny region is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I understand from the board that a grant of £183,400 is being provided to the Kilkenny association for severely mentally handicapped adults this year towards the cost of running two houses for persons with a mental handicap in Kilkenny.
