Question:47 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Defence if he will reconsider the decision to refuse access to a site for a Gaelscoil at Lumville, The Curragh, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14671/99]

The position is as previously advised – the future management and development of the Curragh is currently being considered by an interdepartmental task force having regard to the immense archaeological, cultural, environmental and historical significance of the area. The request from the Gaelscoil for access across the Curragh will be considered in the context of the report of the task force which I understand has been completed and will be presented shortly.
