Vol. 505 No. 7

Written Answers. - Child Benefit.

Nora Owen

Question:

59 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, he has to bring allowances for twins in line with allowances for triplets and quadruplets; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14686/99]

There are no allowances for multiple births within the tax system. Changes to the additional child benefit available in respect of multiple births are a matter for the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs.
