256 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans, if any, he has to formalise the teaching structure at St. Francis training centre in Cork; and the future plans, if any, he has to give permanency to the teachers who have been teaching in the centre for 15 years. I have been in ongoing discussion with the City of Cork Vocational Education Committee regarding a range of issues in the centre. The VEC will explore with the centre's board of management the feasibility of resolving the matters referred to in the light of the recent general agreement reached in regard to senior traveller training centres.
