858 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science the up to date position in relation to the proposed building of an extra room at Carrowkennedy national school, Westport, County Mayo, given the current dreadful conditions at the school. [17682/99]

Architectural planning for a building project at Carrowkennedy national school has commenced and the project will be progressed through the remaining stages of the planning process as quickly as possible.
