Citigate Dewe Rogerson, with a sub-contract to Drury Communications, was engaged under EU public procurement rules by my Department and the Department of Finance to provide marketing and PR consultancy services to the steering committee which oversaw the Telecom Eireann IPO process. These services cost £700,000 plus a 10 per cent incentive fee, excluding VAT and expenses. In addition, Citigate Dewe Rogerson will be charging the Department £7,680, excluding VAT and expenses for additional PR and marketing work carried out in connection with the listing of Telecom Eireann shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
Graphic Display Systems was employed by my Department to provide a backdrop at the rail safety conference in March this year at a cost of £335.
