Question:134 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence the position regarding the sale of the houses at Orchard Park, the Curragh, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19294/99]

The position is that it has been found necessary for the Chief State Solicitor's office to seek counsel's opinion on matters relating to the sale of these properties. This advice is currently awaited and when it is received the residents of Orchard Park will be contacted without delay and apprised of the position.
