Vol. 509 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tidy Towns Report.

John Perry

Question:

245 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason a property (details supplied) in County Sligo was omitted from the tidy towns report; if this property will be included in view of the fact that the owner who has spent all his life in business is terminally ill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19549/99]

Adjudication of entrants in the tidy towns competition is carried out by a panel of independent adjudicators. It is the responsibility of the adjudicators to prepare reports on individual towns and I have no function in the matter.
