Vol. 509 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Board Allowances.

Paul McGrath

Question:

256 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of nursing home subvention payable to a person who has been assessed as needing the maximum level of care (details supplied). [20765/99]

Under the Nursing Home (Subvention) Regulations, 1993, the maximum level of subvention for a person assessed as having the maximum level of dependency is £120 per week. As the Deputy is aware, the amount of subvention payable in any case is a matter for the appropriate health board.
