349 Mr. Kelleher asked the Minister for Education and Science if he can reassure the principals of Gaeltacht secondary schools that the attendance of transition year pupils from non-Gaeltacht schools for a three month period during September to Christmas term will continue as in the past to be counted in both schools for the purpose of determining teacher quotas. There are no proposals to change the arrangements currently in place in relation to the recognition of the pupils in question for teacher allocation purposes.
