181 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the progress, if any, made in order to provide an automatic level crossing for a location (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21623/99]

I have no function in respect of the provision of level crossings, except in the case where I am required to make an order permitting technical changes. I have received no application from Iarnród Éireann for an order in respect of the crossing in question.
